Big Changes ...

Yesterday was your 4 month check up and boy did we learn a lot. First you have grown so much. Here are your new stats compared to our last visit.

Four Month Checkup Stats (6/28/10)

Height - 26 inches - 85th Percentile

Weight - 15 lbs 10 oz - 70th Percentile

Head - 42 cm - 50th Percentile


Two Month Checkup Stats (4/28/10)

Height - 23 inches - 50th Percentile

Weight - 12lbs 5.5 oz - 75th Percentile

Head - 39.8 cm - 50th Percentile

Its so amazing how quickly you change. We talked to Dr. Joe about how you are breaking out of your swaddle blanket each night and need someone to come in and wrap you back up sometime around 3:30 in the morning. He suggested that we try and stop the swaddling immediately and see if it helps. So last night Daddy and I decided to give it a try. We were so worried because Dr. Joe also said to make sure we put you down awake ... ummmm... ok we'll try. Well after we fed you, took a bath, played for a little while and then read our story we put you down in your crib. Mommy put 6 nuks in your crib so that way if you woke up wanting one you could find one. It took about 20 minutes or so but eventually you talked yourself to sleep. The best part of all ... you slept until 6:30!!! You must have been moving a lot though because when I put you in your crib at the beginning of the night your head was facing the window and this morning it was facing the door!
