Fifteen Month Appointment

Today was your fifteen month check up. I've been so anxious to see how big you've gotten since your pants have been getting shorter and your shirts aren't quite as long. You were doing great when we first got to your appointment, a little tired from daycare but all in all doing good. You were even hugging Dr. Joe's legs as he was asking mommy and daddy questions before he got started. Once the exam was underway you transformed into a completely different person. You were fussing, crying, straining, screaming and essentially doing everything in your power to get away or take Dr. Joe's instruments.

Despite the tantrums and crying spells Dr. Joe said that you are looking good and doing great. You are keeping right up developmentally and physically with other kids your age and moving right along. You now have 11 teeth with one more molar coming in currently. They are causing you a great deal of discomfort but we are helping you through it as much as we can. We haven't heard many words from you yet besides mama and dada but you babble constantly and the words will definitely come sooner rather than later. I'm sure once you start using them you'll never want to stop talking ... especially if you take after your mama :-)
