6 Weeks

You are six weeks old! So many changes from when we first met you little man. You love laying on your back on your activity mat and will often times just lay there kicking your legs and cooing at your whale. You don't sit in your swing as much as you did when we brought you home because you always fall asleep but its never a good sleep and makes you crankier for later in the day. Now when I put you in your crib for a nap or sleep you watch me leave the room and when you are fussing and I come back in you are quiet almost immediately. I think you are learning how to play your mama! The best is when you wake up from your sleep you talk to yourself for awhile and when its time to get up you smile when you see me. You are starting to smile more and more but mommy just can't seem to catch one on camera. One of these days I hope!

We have also finally got you sleeping in your crib and if it wasn't for Ashley it never would've happened. We went out and got you a Beba Bean Bamboo Swaddle Blanket and a Moses basket. For weeks you had been sleeping in your boppy on the couch with mommy and my back was KILLING me, not to mention it isn't the safest idea. So now I can swaddle you, lay you down in your basket and before I know it you are out!

Yesterday you discovered your hands. You LOVE to suck on your hands and fingers now. You also stick out your tongue A LOT! Daddy thinks its the funniest thing, well Daddy thinks that whatever you do is the funniest thing.
